Gulab Arka or Gulabjal is most commonly used Arka. It is mostly used in cosmetics and medicines. It is a fragrant by-product of rose oil extraction, holds significant cultural, medicinal and commercial value in India. The country’s diverse climatic conditions and rich agricultural heritage make it a prominent producer of rose water. This article delves into the production processes, marketing strategies, market dynamics and challenges associated with rose water in India, providing insights into its role in the Indian market.
