ABSTRACT

Extract of Pomegranate peel was used for the present project work. The Successive extract was subjected to preliminary phytochemical testing for the detection of major chemical groups. First group was control group. 0.1 ml of 1% Carregeenan was given to this group. Second group was given standard Indomethacin 5gm/kg. Third group was given drug 200 mg/Kg and fourth group was given 400 mg/Kg of P.Granatum peel Extract. Four readings of paw were taken using Plethysmometer.
