ABSTRACT
Wound is the discontinuity of skin,the infected wound is unhealthy granulation with discharge .In spite of advances that have made, management of infected wound is still challenge for surgeon. Sushruta has described Shashthi Upakramas (sixty measures) for Vrana ropan.Inspite of this heathy wound has granulation tissue, no discharge, no pain. In Rastarangani described tankan as “Vividhavrannashanam….’’so it has been use as loacal application on infected wound, result has coming with changes of infected wound into heathy wound. So it has used on infected wound.
